Surface Matters is the quarterly newsletter of the Arizona Geographic Information Council. It features updates of AGIC activities, descriptions of GIS educational venues throughout the state, and articles about the use of spatial technologies by the people of Arizona.

Professional disciplines that fall within the interests of AGIC include geographic information science, remote sensing, and surveying, along with the technologies that they encompass.

To submit an article to be considered for publication, please send it as a Word or text document to the editor at Articles should be no longer than eight hundred words, but they can be considerably shorter.

If you would like to be interviewed for a possible article about your work, please contact the editor to describe your idea at .
