2024 AGIC Education and Training Symposium was a success. The Conference Committee is currently processing the proceedings and will post them soon. Follow the AGIC social media accounts or AGIC-L Listserv to find out when the proceedings are available and announcements for the 2025 Symposium.
There are many companies that provide free services based on voluntarily contributed data. However, it was recently found that users are less inclined to contribute if they know others are already contributing. This could have a negative effect in diminishing accuracy or utility for public sites that need to have a large number of contributions to ensure accuracy.
