The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are using publicly available imagery and artificial intelligence technology to assess damaged or destroyed structures during emergencies.  Their work helps the President issue federal disaster declarations and expedite financial aid to victims.
