Congratulations to Laura L. Sharp and Ellie Hammond with the City of Tucson for winning the 2024 ArcGIS StoryMaps Competition, Health and Safety category. Their storymap, titled "Tucson Equity Priority Index: A data-informed approach to community investment," discusses the Tucson Equity Priority Index (TEPI) the city uses to evaluate and priortize initiatives, policies, and programs to ensure an equitable outcome. The authors note their story “underscores the role of geographic information in connecting communities with essential health and safety resources, while addressing disparities in access and infrastructure.” Join us in congratulating Laura and Ellie!
